Iris 'Agrippinella' is a selection of Japanese iris that begins flowering for us in early June (NC) with 3' tall stalks

though it is self supporting if necessary

This surprisingly hardy yucca relative is absolutely exquisite

each highlighted by a contrasting yellow cup

but we occasionally have enough to share and this is one of those times
