In the same matrix you can also see a tooth of Platecarpus ptychodon (mosasaurus species) and what appears to be a rib fragment or the transverse process of another vertebra just below the neural spine of the main vertebra

Fragments of this asteroid were recovered the following December and were found to be ureilite
