Hesperaloe engelmannii San Saba Juncus this vigorously growing 22" wide(aka: Hesperaloe parviflora var. engelmannii) Hesperaloe engelmannii is a closely related plant to the better known Hesperaloe parviflora, but larger in all parts. The darker green leaves can reach just over 3' long, and the flower spikes, which rise alongside the leaves, can reach 7'+ tall. The bright red calyces open to reveal soft pink flowers.
